Original Frisket Masking Film

Original Frisket Film has always enjoyed the enviable reputation for both the quality and consistency of performance required by discerning professionals, and the name Frisket has become synonymous with masking film.
Frisket Film is available in both Gloss and Matt finishes. The specially formulated low-tack adhesive can be used by artists working with any kind of medium on most surfaces. The fine vinyl cuts cleanly with minimal pressure, therefore protecting the artwork underneath. The Gloss film allows perfect clarity when used in position directly onto artwork. The Matt film accepts pencil drawing so masks can be pre-prepared away from the artwork as well as cut in position. The backing paper is translucent enough to allow images to be traced directly onto the Matt surface.
It is recommend to test a small area of the artwork before using Frisket Film on a new surface or with a new paint to be sure that it peels off without leaving residue or causing any surface damage. Film should not be exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat for long periods of time as this may affect the behaviour of the adhesive.
