| PastelMat is a premium card surface developed by Clairefontaine in France, who have been making paper since 1858. This particular product is made especially for artists working in dry media such as pastels, coloured pencil, graphite and charcoal. Being water-resistant, it can also be used with watercolours and acrylics and various mixed media techniques. |

- An uncanny ability to hold several layers of colour one on top of another
- A unique surface that significantly reduces the need for fixatives, so that colours maintain their vibrancy and intensity
- An availability of 8 beautiful colours in 4 sizes
- Each colour available in a standard size of 20"x28" in 5 sheet packs
- The other 3 sizes of 7"x 9", 9"x 12" and 12"x 16" are sold as 12-sheet pads, with the pads split into two colour groups (A and B) for a total offering of 6 pads
- Each pad contains 3 sheets of 4 colours with each sheet separated by translucent acid-free paper
