In 1990 the artist Andreas Tschernoch started producing sketch books for his own needs as well as for his colleagues. Right from the beginning, emphasis was placed on high-quality paper and a flexible book binding, so that the books can be easily opened and laid flat. These qualities have remained the hallmark up to today and are the reason that Kunst & Papier quickly became a reliable supplier in Germany and abroad.
Kunst & Papier focus lies not on investing in marketing – but on high-quality papers and grammages as well as flexible book bindings with a flat opening. Additionally, sustainability is of high importance to them: They manufacture primarily in Germany and exclusively in the EU. This keeps transport routes short. They ship their sketchbooks Pasteboard Cover in overpacks made of paper and do not shrink-wrap them individually in foil.
The quality standards of their books, booklets and folders are valued by artists, architects and students alike.

Black Wire-O bound with a diameter of 1“ (25.4 mm), the large diameter allows to add features such as photos, the 55 sheets are protected by a 2 mm thick, protruding, stiff and smooth pasteboard cover (made from 100% sorted recycling paper, pH neutral), made in Germany.
